We will reopen for late summer 2025 / 2026 reservations in March of 2025 & we cant wait to share all of these exciting changes with you!

ALL PACKAGES INCLUDE:

Private 3-hour rental of the property, bridal cottage with two getting ready spaces, day-of ceremony coordinator, professional sound system, chairs, rehearsal time, and a private parking lot.

One Hour Elopement Wedding $750

Bring your two witnesses and your vendor team (no additional guests) and chose anywhere on our beautiful grounds to have your ceremony. This can be scheduled 30 days before your wedding on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. If you would like a Monday - Thursday, schedule anytime.

(Rehearsal is not included with this package. 2 guest limit)

What’s Included

Bridal Retreat Cottage
This charming cottage has two levels. The upper level is for the guys, with air hockey, sofa, full length mirror, a small refrigerator and plenty of air conditioning. The lower level is for the girls with a large gathering table, make-up mirror stations, full length mirrors, refrigerator, air conditioning and an attached bath. Anything you may have forgot, we probably have - just ask!  

Thursday Night Rehearsal with your Trellis Wedding Coordinator
When you sign a contract with Trellis, you choose your rehearsal time. It is the Thursday afternoon/evening before your wedding day and you can plan on being with us for one hour. Your Trellis wedding coordinator will facilitate your ceremony rehearsal so it unfolds according to your wedding day wishes.    

Wedding Ceremony Coordinator
Your details are gathered by Trellis one month previous to your wedding day and passed on to your wedding coordinator. After answering many precise questions, we will have all the information to make those wedding day wishes come true!

200 White Chairs
Trellis owns two hundred chairs, however we can seat up to 250 guests. If you need additional chairs, you can rent or bring in the additional chairs needed. These would need to be delivered and picked up within 30min of your rental time.  

40 Double White Satin Umbrellas
To be used if it rains, allowing the wedding party to get from the Cottage to the Canopy area.

Iron Unity Candle Stand
You would bring the candles, we can provide the stand.  

Small Table in Ceremony Area
You may need a place to put the things you bring in… roses, sand or tree ceremony items, etc.

Two Antique Side Tables
One is located by our cottage and can be used for signing of a guest book, gifts, cards, pictures or anything you would like. The other is located at the back of our Canopy. This is usually used for programs, remembrance bouquets pictures, bubbles, etc.   

Surround Sound Audio System with 5 Microphones
We have hidden speakers in our gardens that allow sound to be heard from the time that guests enter our grounds. Music is on from the time the wedding party enters until they leave.  We have prerecorded music we will use or you can bring your own. You can use an ipod, iphone, computer or any other electronic devise for sound. Trellis owns 5 microphones. One will be needed for the officiant. One for a speaker or reader. One for vows (if you choose to have your guests hear your vows). The remaining are for musicians.  

Musicians Courtyard
This is located next to our Canopy area and has many electrical outlets.  If you are having a Gazebo Wedding, we have a different sound system that you can use for amplification of music. This is included in our pricing. Your musicians will not need to bring in an amplification system. They can plug in to our professional mixer. Music stands will need to be brought in by your musician(s). There are plenty of electrical plug ins nearby. There is no need for extension cords. 

A real life fairytale

We are so incredibly glad that we discovered Trellis when searching for a Stillwater ceremony venue! It has to be one of the most stunning outdoor settings in all of Minnesota and was an absolute dream for our photographer with all of the garden nooks and crannies to utilize for wedding photos. But easily the best part of getting married at Trellis was getting to work with Kelsey! She was kind, responsive, and flexible and helped bring our ceremony visions to life. We can’t recommend Trellis highly enough!

No matter how you envision your wedding, we’ve got the perfect timeline to bring it to life. Here’s how your special day could unfold with us:

Day Break: For the couple who wants to soak up every moment! Start your day with a beautiful late morning ceremony at Trellis. Afterward, keep the celebration going with a lovely luncheon, an early dinner, or additional festivities at the reception venue of your choice. This is a favorite for Saturday and Sunday weddings—perfect for making the most of your day!

Early Afternoon: The classic wedding vibe! Say “I do” in the early afternoon, then treat your guests to a lively cocktail hour followed by dinner at your reception venue. This timeline is ideal if you’d like to ease into the evening with plenty of time for mingling, photos, and fun.

Late Afternoon: There’s nothing quite like golden hour—nature’s perfect filter! For late summer celebrations time your ceremony with sunset, and you’ll be wrapped in warm, dreamy light as you say “I do.” Afterward, head straight to your reception for an intimate dinner or an all-night dance party. All summer this timeframe is the perfect for those that would rather skip the cocktail hour and dive right into the celebration!

Night Fall: One of our favorites! Imagine a romantic summer ceremony just as the sun sets, surrounded by the soft glow of string lights, glowing lanterns, and twinkling post lights. This is perfect for smaller guest lists, with couples often starting the evening with an intimate dinner elsewhere before gathering at Trellis for a breathtaking dusk ceremony.

Note: Nightfall ceremonies are available through August to catch the best sunset lighting.
